Are you a resident of British Columbia living with a chronic lung condition? Join our 5-week Harmonicas for Health and Happiness program and discover how playing the harmonica can help you breathe better, feel better, and connect with others!
Harmonicas for Health isn't just about music – it’s about improving your lung health. Developed by the COPD Foundation and funded by the BC Lung Foundation, this program is specifically designed for those with chronic lung conditions to:
Strengthen your diaphragm and key muscles that help you breathe.
Improve breath control by mimicking pursed-lip breathing.
Reduce shortness of breath and increase your lung capacity through fun, musical exercises.
And the best part? You’ll be having so much fun playing the harmonica, you’ll forget you’re exercising!
If you have questions or would like to join, email us at poplar@poplarpulmonary.com or give us a call at 236-361-3480!
Visit our Harmonicas for Health and Happiness web page for more details.
